Traveling Trunks
The Early Peoples Traveling Trunk is ready! This trunk focuses on the life and environment of the people who lived in this area as far back as the end of the Pleistocene era up to the recent life of the Native Americans of the Coastal Bend.
The rental fee for traveling trunks is $5 for up to two weeks.
Reservations for a traveling trunk must be made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability. Please have alternative rental dates in mind in case the trunk is already reserved for your preferred rental date.
Traveling Trunks include:
- Artifacts and replica artifacts that students can touch and handle
- Activities and lessons that are based on the theme of the trunk
- A Glossary/definition sheet with brief explanations of the artifacts and key words used
- Interactive classroom games that pertain to the theme of the trunk
