The Original Artisans Market

Celebrate the holidays with MCB at The Original Artisans Market. Shop handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items from regional artisans and makers. This is a curated market -- vendors are carefully chosen to represent only handcrafted artisan products. Now in our 13th year, the holiday Artisans Market will be held inside the galleries at the Museum of the Coastal Bend for your shopping comfort. An enclosed entry tent will accommodate expanded shopping area for social-distancing. Health and safety requirements, including occupancy limits, facial coverings, temperature screening for entry, and enhanced cleaning will be strictly enforced. Free admission. MCB members receive 10% discount at vendor booths. Participating vendors include: Backyard Bird Nerd; Crossroads Homemade Goodies; Country Q's; Das Buehler Haus; The Glass Dude; G. How the cow and the cowboy came to Texas

Greg Garrett, a museum educator, talks about early origins of the cattle industry. Greg will discuss how the stock, and the people who worked the stock, made their way to Texas. Online event attendance only. We're sorry, circumstances do not allow for in-person attendance at this time.
